A free-paint style art class for toddlers ages 2.5 - 4.5, taught by a working painter in West Hollywood. Kids get a short lesson, then a large canvas and total creative freedom. All classes are outdoors, under shade sails and the California sun.
Every class follows the same rhythm, so kids know exactly what to expect.

Why We Paint (Pourquoi peindre)
Pascal has kept a painting studio for over a decade: large-scale, abstract, plaster and pigment. He's also a father with a calm, interested, and unhurried way with small kids.
Paint with Pascal started from a simple observation: most art classes for toddlers use small canvases, small gestures, small expectations. He wanted to give kids the real thing: his kind of scale, his kind of freedom, inside a structure loose enough to let them actually be toddlers about it.
Each class follows the French parenting philosophy of the cadre, or the frame: set a small boundary, and then let everything inside that boundary belong entirely to the child. No correcting how they hold a brush. No praising what it "looks like." Just space, paint, and a little French along the way.
